4. The Action Palette

The Action Palette is the central nervous system of TeXposit. It allows you to navigate files, search within code, and trigger UI actions without ever touching your mouse.

How to Open

Press Cmd+P (Mac) or Ctrl+P (Windows) from anywhere in the editor.

Quick Tips

When you open the palette without typing anything, it shows suggested actions to get you started:

Project Navigation

Search for a filename or section title to jump to it instantly.

Global Text Search

Type any phrase to search inside all files in your project.

Quick Citation Search

Find and insert citations easily without leaving the editor.

AI Assistant

Type your question and select "Send to Assistant" to jump straight into an AI chat session with that prompt.

File Actions
The palette also surfaces quick file actions: create a new file, add a folder, or upload a file, without reaching for the sidebar.
