Everything you export is standard LaTeX, so it works with other editors, journals and preprint servers.
Download the PDF
Open File and choose Download PDF. This downloads the PDF from your last successful compile, so compile first if you changed anything.
If the project has no compiled PDF yet, the download fails with a "PDF not found" message.
Export the project
Open File and choose Export Project. A dialog lists what to include:
- Project files: your source files, without build output or hidden folders
- Compiled PDF: the PDF from your last compile, named after the project
- Material bank contents
- TeXposit metadata: author, coauthors, sharing, settings and history, as
texposit_metadata.json - Comments: as
comments.json - Latest provenance report (PDF): as
provenance_report.pdf
Click Export to download <project name>.zip. The export is also available from the project's menu on the projects page.
STOPSHIP markers
A % STOPSHIP comment anywhere in the source blocks Download PDF and the Compiled PDF option of the export. The message names the file and line. Remove the marker, or untick Compiled PDF to export everything else.
Share without exporting
To let someone read the PDF without an account, turn on Anyone can view in File then Share Project. See Real-time collaboration.
